The short-term rental of a car in Canada is simple,fast and efficient, as long as you fulfill a few requirements:

  • To have a valid driver's license at the time of booking and during the rental period
  • To be old enough; usually, the minimum age to rent acar is 21 but some rental companies may require you to be at least 24 years old
  • To have a good driving record; this may apply differently depending on the car rental company chosen
  • To insure your rental car, especially if your current insurance policy does not cover the type of vehicle you are interested in
  • To present a credit card that will be accepted for the deposit amount, and that has enough credit for the total rental fees
